Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe winery’s signature, zweigelt, is from Kalala’s Westbank Vineyard. The cooler Westbank climate gives this variety a juicy undertone and a fresh character. The fruit was harvested in the third week of October and spent 14 months in mainly Hungarian barrels. The palate is fresh with campfire, cassis, licorice, earthy, savoury black cherry with a twist of leather. Tannins are soft with some bitterness.
