Domaine de la Folie Rully Blanc Monopole Clos la Folie 2018

Rully, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, FranceFrom the north-east clay limestone Monopole vineyard of Domaine de la Folie, this comes from sustainably farmed 40-year-old vines, and was fermented and aged in steel. There's a lovely textural component to this wine, drawing tight wild lemon, straw, and amply stony minerality through the medium palate, kissed ever so slightly with an alluring quince blossom note. Very well knit now, and with time ahead, this is a striking example of Rully.Tasted: 18 April 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
