Volcanic Hills Pinot Noir Reserve 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA mature version for sure but a bit of an odd duck with not a lot of pinot character, save for the sour cherry entry. There are cedar and spice herbaceous notes and vestiges of too much new oak, but not many of the round sweet pinot characters you crave at this price point. The finish is short and dry. It needs drinking with a rambunctious beef stew to smooth out all the imperfections.Tasted: 14 March 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
