Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPinot blanc continues to be a tough sell with consumers, although the cool kids will buy it instantly. Narrative played a hunch and decided to add another pinot to the mix. In this case, it was pinot gris, and it seems to work. The attack is fresh, but the textures are softer and rounder bringing a better balance to attract the casual drinker. Concrete ageing adds another dimension and supercharges the minerality. Look for apples, lime, creamy lees, all with a dusting of spice. Food friendly and ready to drink, you can serve this all summer.
