Hubert Brochard Sancerre 2020

Sancerre, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceThe Brochard Sancerre vineyard is a patchwork quilt of sites that includes more than 220 fields across seven villages. The fruit is both hand and machine harvested from 30ish year old sauvignon blanc vines, and hand sorted at the winery where the berries are destemmed and pressed. The fermentation regime is slow and cool. The result is a classic presentation of Sancerre: bright floral aromas with green fruit and Meyer lemon with chalky, mineral, creamy notes. It is the perfect shellfish wine and can be classically paired with Crottin de Chavignol or chèvre.Tasted: 26 February 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
