Veneto, ItalyControcorrente translates as 'against the mainstream' in Italian. This is a boutique vermouth company, using organic Veneto grapes and Mediterranean botanicals. This dry vermouth is made from Verduzzo grapes, infused with Gentian, Elderflower, and green tea. Very spicy and intense, with heady perfumed musk, melon, lemon, exotic florals, and an ample dose of resinous spices, finishing with white pepper.
