Babich Black Label Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThe Black Label Sauvignon Blanc is a step up from the classic white label, with more intensity and power within, and an aim towards gastronomy. From estate vineyards throughout Marlborouh, this was partially native fermented in stainless, where it remained on lees, with partial MLF, until bottling. Creamy yet bright with gooseberry, lime pith and peel, guava, and white grapefruit, this carries some citrus weight on the palate, aided by a couple of grams of RS. Certainly one to partner alongside fragrant Indian or Thai curries.Tasted: 06 December 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
