The Ned Pinot Noir 2019

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThis Marlborough pinot, from Marisco Vineyards in Waihopai Valley, overdelivers on its modest price tag, perhaps a reflection of the very good 2019 vintage. The fruit is ripe, concentrated, and well-defined, led by bright dark berries, which give this a real appeal. But there's depth, too, with a hint of spice and earth to add complexity.
