Pfaff Pinot Gris 2020

Alsace, FrancePfaff continues to over deliver at this price point, demonstrating the intense Alsace style that comes with plenty of fragrant soft fruit. In this case, the palate is lush and lengthy, with sweet melon, spicy ginger throughout a just off-dry palate of smoky yellow fruits with honeysuckle undercurrent. Showy but not over the top. Perfect for spicy sushi rolls. I love the price. The Alsace style of gris is almost always richer and a little, not a lot, weightier than the Italian version, but tasted with some BC gris, there are similarities.Tasted: 19 October 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
