Marche, ItalyFrom organically grown verdicchio, and vines up to 30 years rooted in hillsides of calcareous clay loams, this was partially cold-soaked, and native fermented where it remains on lees (no MLF) for 5 months prior to bottling. Shining lemon, bosc pear, almond is lit with a humming stony minerality, and based with an amplitude offered through the deep clay soils. Quite characterful, with easy freshness and inherent charm.
