Joseph Drouhin Côte de Beaune Blanc 2018

Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceLook for a reserved chardonnay of citrus and hazelnuts that gives way to a creamy mid-palate of almonds, a hint of honey, and light lemongrass. Ready to drink and perfectly styled with most west coast seafood dishes such as Dungeness crab or buttered clams. The Drouhin Côte de Beaune Blanc comes off the hillside above the village of Beaune, as well as available declassified juice from the younger vines at the famous Clos des Mouches vineyard. The grapes have been biodynamically farmed since 1990 at a density of 10 to 12.5 thousand vines per hectare. Post ferment, it is aged in 20 percent new French oak for a year.Tasted: 28 February 2023Tasted by: Prices:
