Joseph Drouhin Côte de Beaune Blanc 2018

Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceThis label contains estate grapes from the Côte de Beaune, the hillside above the village of Beaune, and some declassified juice from the younger vines at the famous Clos des Mouches vineyard. It has been biodynamically farmed since 1990 at a density of 10 to 12.5 thousand vines per hectare. Post ferment, it is aged in French oak (20 percent new) for a year. Look for a quiet nose of citrus and hazelnuts that melt into a creamy mid-palate of almonds, a hint of honey, and light lemongrass. Ready to drink and perfect with most west coast seafood dishes such as Dungeness crab or buttered clams.Tasted: 12 July 2021Tasted by: Prices:
