Bordeaux, FranceThis is a solid Bordeaux rouge from Caves de Rauzan, the co-op based in Entres-Deux-Mers. The 80/20 merlot-cabernet sauvignon blend shows black cherry and cedar, with a slightly muddled character to the fruit. It may not be overly complex, but this is still Bordeaux through and through and a winner at this price.
