Pfalz, GermanyThis dry sauvignon wine comes from high density plantings in Deidesheim, in the Pfalz, and the region's sandy loam, red sandstone, and loess soils. This was entirely fermented in oak. Pouring a deeper yellow hue, this is honeyed and concentrated with focused mandarin, grapefruit, quince, lined with brown butter. The finish lingers with shimmering stone.
