Township 7 Provenance Series Rosé 2020

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere's a lot of intention behind this rosé. The merlot (38%), malbec (7%), and petit verdot (5%) are picked together and direct pressed after four hours of skin contact, imparting a beautiful pale Provençal colour. The cabernet franc (33%) and cabernet sauvignon (16%) are fermented separately. It's quite perfumed and alluring, with white blossoms, spice, crunchy red berry fruit, and grapefruit. And it's just as much about the texture as it is the fruit: pithy and precise, with a dry but not austere finish.Tasted: 28 June 2021Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
