Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainPrime is a limited-edition albariño from the Val do Salnés subregion of Rías Baixas, produced from the free run must of their oldest vineyards, growing on sandy granitic loams. After a stainless ferment over 3 weeks, this remained on lees with weekly bâtonnage for 6 months, and then another 6 months without touching prior to bottling. Yellow apple, pear, quince custard, tangerine takes the full, fruit-forward, lightly honeyed palate, seasoned with broken stones and peach pit, and finishing with a lingering granitic hum.Tasted: 02 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
