Covert Farms Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their organic Coyote Block estate vineyard, atop McIntyre Bluff, the 2020 blends 73% sauvignon blanc, 17 sémillon, and a surprising 10% splash of viognier. This was was fermented and aged in stainless. Tropical pineapple, baked yellow apple, fragrant guava rule the bright, off-dry palate, finishing with spiced pineapple rind. I'd love to see this without the viognier, for a clearer view of what BC meets white Bx can show.
