Chemistry Wine Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2018

Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesLaunched in 2018, Chemistry is a collaborative project between Stoller Family Estate and Chehalem Winery, both owned now by Bill Stoller, and sourcing fruit from their 4 estates in Chehalem Mountains and one in Dundee Hills. This pinot came from their various sites and lots, with some lots whole cluster, some with extended cold soaking, all native fermented in stainless before 10 months in oak (15% new) and one year in bottle prior to release. Tart and green edged, this bright pinot carries red and black currant, cherry, raspberry across a crunchy palate, framed by soft tannins and lit by tart acidity. An edgy, accessible style of Willamette pinot, from some of the folks that know it best.Tasted: 09 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
