Archery Summit Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2019

Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesFrom Archery Summit's 5 estate vineyards in Dundee Hills, this is rooted in the region's Jory volcanic soils. This is 40% whole cluster in 2019. Post ferment, this was aged in French oak (38% new) until the following summer, when it was racked and blended, and returned to barrel for another 8 months prior to bottling. This is a fragrant and elegant pinot, lofted with perfumed raspberry and cherry, and layered with forest moss. Tannins are long and quite firm, and acidity is Dundee Hills lofted, carrying this to a lingering cedar spiced finish. Drinking well now, but will certainly have some time ahead in the cellar.Tasted: 02 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
