Alpha Box & Dice Enigma Barbera 2019

Adelaide Hills, Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide, South Australia, AustraliaThese Barbera grapes come from the Christmas Hill Vineyard in Kuitpo, Carmine Peppicelli Vineyard in Kenton Valley, and Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. The soil is light red clay loam. This was whole bunch, and spent 24 months in old barriques (225L) and puncheons (500L). Fragrant purple florals, boysenberry, blueberry lead this cushioned, juicy, fleshy, medium bodied red, with soft tannins hugging the sides through to the lightly spiced finish. Though this is 14.5%, the altitude of the hills keeps this fresh in the mouth.Tasted: 02 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
