Play Spotlight Sémillon 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Wild Horse Estate Vineyard, this sémillon was whole bunch pressed, with 56% barrel aged and the remainder in stainless barrels, all with regular bâtonnage for 6 months. The wood is upfront and present, overruling the fruit at first, but as this warms up, ripe pear, peach, yellow apple emerge, along with fine spice and a slight sheen of waxiness on the lean palate, along with a puff of sulphur.
