Coonawarra, South Australia, AustraliaOne whiff of the Hollick Old Vines Cab, and you are transported to the terra rossa soils of Coonawarra in the Limestone Coast Wine Zone. Old Vines is matured in French oak, which sets structure to the mid palate dominated by black fruit, eucalyptus, and spice. This comes off two special blocks: the Wilgha, and Neilson's Block vineyards, both at the cooler, southern end of Coonawarra. This wine will keep for a decade, if not more, so there is no rush to drink it. if yo are fan of cabernet sauvignon and pure fruit this is one you will enjoy.
