Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Napa Valley, California, United StatesBlack Stallion is located in the Stags Leap area of Napa valley on an old equestrian site. The Indelicato family, owners of the Delicato wine empire, own Black Stallion, so resources are not a problem. It is a true entry-level Napa cab, assembled from various sites across the valley and at $50, it represents pretty good value. First off, it is mostly off-dry, although the style is Napa ripe with plenty of black cherry fruit, rich but smooth tannins that finish with a hit of blackberry, cocoa and baking spice. It is made for early drinking and would be perfect with lamb or beef grilled on the barbecue.Tasted: 07 May 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
