Poggio Anima Raphael Rosato 2019
Sicily, ItalyPoggio Anima is a joint project between Toscana's Le Ragnaie and one of their American importers to highlight different regions and indigenous grapes around Italy. Each cuvée in the colourful series is named for fantastic mythical beasts. This rosato comes from western Sicily's sandy slopes and blends 85% Zibibbo and 15% Syrah on brown clay and limestone, and done entirely in stainless. The shining pale peach hue comes from a couple of days of skin contact on the syrah.
