Moraine Pinot Noir 2019

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Naramata Bench Sophia Estate vineyard, this is 777 clone, whole berry fermented, with gentle hand punch downs before oak aging. Fragrant black cherries, forest berries, violets, sultry damson plums flood the soft, perfumed palate, structured by time in oak, and freshened with a bright, lofty acidity. Tannins are finely rasped, gripping this lightly to the prominantly wood spiced finish. A pretty, darker, floral version of pinot, well suited to duck.Tasted: 09 April 2021Tasted by: Prices:
