Mirabeau en Provence Rosé Classic 2019

Côtes de Provence, Provence, Sud de France, FranceThe last time I reviewed this wine, it was excellent. I did complain that it didn’t need a cork, and voila, the cork is gone in 2019. It’s still pale, pale pink and super delicate, but the nuances are even more subtle under screwcap. The blend is grenache and syrah grown between 300 and 400 metres and all harvested at night. Delicate, bone dry, and food friendly, this is tightly wound and a pleasure to drink. Strawberries and citrus dominate the palate. Serve all summer with grilled vegetables, grilled fish, or cheese. Very proper, dry rosé, which means it's not for everyone. As mentioned, the cork is gone, which makes this wine even easier to open. It is hard to believe how many producers fail to understand the barrier a cork is to consumers who just want a glass of rosé.Tasted: 02 April 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
