Emandare Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 21 year old vines, the oldest sauvignon blanc on the island, this was organically farmed, destemmed and left to soak for 24 hours prior to a native ferment in stainless over one month. It then remain on lees, with no bâtonnage, for 5 months, with full MLF. Bright and vibrant with great grapefruit acidity and passionfruit punchiness, wrapped around a core of pure, warm citrus fruit. There's an alluring textural component drawing you along the palate to the zesty, lemon pith finish. A very convincing example for SB, and organic viticulture, in Cowichan.Tasted: 29 April 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
