O Rosal, Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainFrom the Rías Baixas O Rosal region, this blends 40-year-old vines of trellised albariño, loureiro, and treixadura from the area's sandy, alluvial, river stone laden soils. The grapes were fermented separately in stainless, with albariño and loureiro receiving additional time on lees before blending. Now with a couple of years under cork, this deeper yellow-hued wine is cusping with light honeysuckle, mandarin marmalade, white peach, subtle lime blossoms on a softer, sandy, medium-bodied palate.
