Gérard Bertrand Source of Joy Rosé 2020

Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThe Source of Joy is a pale pale blend of grenache, syrah, and cinsault harvested from the AOP Languedoc and made to be served with food, a style the French term gastronomy. A portion is vinified in barrels to add richness and some weight, but it stays fresh with no malolactic fermentation. The palate opens with fresh red berries flecked with licorice and dappled with a spicy finish. This is a classy edition to the Bertrand lineup of rosés. It's both organic and vegan certified. Pairing suggestions range from wild salmon sashimi or sushi to ceviche.Tasted: 15 February 2021Tasted by: Prices:
