Oak Bay Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnother home run for the Gebert family, who consistently turn out some impressive, inexpensive pinot noir, an oxymoron if ever there was one. As noted before, sometimes it is not what a pinot noir is, but it's more about what it isn't. This earthy, spicy, bright pinot with bright red fruit and forest floor is devoid of alcohol and sugar, but I like its silky round tannins dusted with a hint of soy and balsamic. You can drink this now with a piece of grilled salmon or pork, or hold it through 2021-22. Good value.Tasted: 01 January 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
