Château-Fuissé Mâcon Villages 2018

Mâcon-Villages, Mâconnais, Burgundy, FranceThe Vincent family has overseen southern Bourgogne's Château Fuissé for five generations, since 1862. They own more than 40 hectares spanning five appellations. Grapes for this wine come from vineyards adjoining Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran, and soils are a mix of stoney clays. This was fermented and aged in stainless, to preserve the bright fruit. Lemon, ripe green apple rides a comfortable base of herbal lees, striated with stones, and finishing with a bright mandarin / lemon snap. Drinking well now. This is sealed with a Nomacorc Green cork made of bamboo.Tasted: 02 January 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
