Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaFrom the west coastal cooled Margaret River, this is an entry-level cabernet sauvignon showing off its cooler-climate structure. This was aged for 11 months in American oak barriques (8% new) and older American and French oak barriques and hogsheads. Ripe, dense cassis is cut with cooling eucalyptus on the fleshy palate, one housed with toasted, somewhat sticky tannins. The finish is tight and bright, with a lingering mint/mocha note. Crack and take this plush, fresh red with grilled and sauced ribs.Tasted: 08 December 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
