Moon Curser Dead of the Night 2018

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDespite its name, Dead of Night is quite an attractive red blend full of bright red fruit aromas and flavours that persist throughout the wine. The blend is a mix of tannat and syrah that was co-fermented for the first time. Last year we thought it was flamboyant, and it is just as showy in 2018. Clean and chock full of flavour from kirsch cherries, savoury south Okanagan peppery blueberries, and black currants. Rich full-bodied and covered in oak, it is just a baby, but there is a sense of balance that points to a fine future. Hold through 2024.Tasted: 14 December 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
