Fort Berens White Gold Reserve 2018
Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaWhite Gold is Fort Berens' premium Lillooet chardonnay, sourced entirely from the Dry Creek Vineyard estate, and fermented in French barrels, where it remained, with bâtonnage. Ripe, full, and rich with creamed corn, baked peach, fragrant white blossoms, spiced wood spread across a slower palate. A bump of RS fattens this into old-school Cali chard style, which is where I'd place this blind (coastal Sonoma).
