Clare Valley, South Australia, AustraliaThis approachable, ready to drink Clare Valley shiraz shows a combination of ripe, slightly confected black fruits and cracked pepper, with the wood firmly in the background. It's not quite as full as you'd expect from the 14.5% abv, but it should make for a fantastic barbeque wine as we head into the May long weekend.
