Bisol Cartizze Prosecco 2019

Treviso, Verona, Veneto, ItalyThis wine originates on the hill of Cartizze, 305 metres high, and spread across 107 hectares of vines owned by 140 growers. The Prosecco from its grapes is widely considered the highest quality or even the Grand Cru of Prosecco. The vineyard work required to make this wine is characterized as heroic, and walking the steep landscape makes that description abundantly clear. The vineyards wind along the crumbly stone hillsides over a firmer rock that results in a more refined Prosecco with a light, airy style. Despite pushing some 25 g/L of residual, it presents relatively dry, offering more finesse enhanced by floral stony notes mixed with blue fruits, fresh bread and minerality. Classy bubble best with subtle bites.Tasted: 20 November 2020Tasted by: Prices:
