Summerhill Pyramid Winery Estate Grown Pinot Noir Demeter Certified Biodynamic 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their estate vineyard planted in 2000, this was native fermented in an older oak foudre before moving to stainless for MLF. Half was then rested for 3 months in neutral oak before being blended back into tank, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Pouring a cloudy hue, this coats the palate with tart black cherry, sour plum, ample twinges of balsamic, with soft tannins to a sour finish with a kiss of smoke.
