Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2019 sees fresh, smart new packaging for Summerhill winery, with this grüner in an appropriate tall, slender bottle, and a new label highlighting both the Demeter biodynamic certification, and the iconic pyramid. This comes off 2011 planted estate vines, and the 2019 was fermented in stainless, without skins (unlike the two previous vintages). Intense and spicy, with rafts of white pepper seasoning an exotic floral bouquet, star anise, musk melon and a mid-sweet palate (17.7 g/L). Much fresher than the previous incarnations.
