Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2019 Grüner makes a strong right turn with a new bottle, new label, and a dramatically different style. The fruit comes off the original 2011 estate plantings, and it was fermented in stainless steel without any skins. The result is a fresher, cleaner wine with bright floral, peppery fruit and a surprising sweet mid-palate thanks to 17.7 g/L of residual sugar. It should be excellent with spicy Asian foods.
