Poplar Grove CSM 2016
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIt's been several years since I last had a look at this wine. In 2016 the mix was cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and syrah. The nose is almost aromatic with savoury desert scrub notes, cedar, and balsamic spice. On the palate, the fruit is red and fresh with more spice before the soft textures take over and run to a long peppery, espresso, mocha finish.
