Pietro Caciorgna Ciaurìa Etna Rosso 2019

Sicily, ItalyPaolo Caciorgna is a renowned Italian Oenologist having worked in some of the greatest names in Tuscan viticulture. Along with consulting to many Italian wine producers he has his own label, Pietro Caciorgna named in dedication to his Father Pietro. Paolo acquired plots of ancient ungrafted vines in the Contrada Marchesa. Medium in hue, with ample medicinal cherry, raspberry, infiltrated with a bushel of wild Mediterranean scrub on the medium-bodied palate. Tannins are sticky, and acidity is brisk, reflective of the soils and altitude.Tasted: 18 September 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
