Palladiano Durello Spumante Brut NV NV
Veneto, ItalyI've opened a lot of sparkling wines. A lot. This was the hardest sparkling wine I've ever opened. In fact, after trying for 10+ minutes to get the cork out, I had to enlist help, and a set of pliers. After then the cork snapped off in the bottle. So - if someone who has opened thousands of bottles of sparkling wine over the past decades can't open a simple bottle... The wine itself is amply off-dry, with garden florals, sweet pear, honey.
