Lunessence Crescendo 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCrescendo is a 43/40/9/8 blend of merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and petit verdot grown in the Oliver area of the south Okanagan. It’s aged for a 13 months in French, Hungarian, and American oak. The style is warm and rich with a ripe black currant attack on the nose and palate, but at 13.5 percent, it remains balanced. The finish is smooth with more oak and savoury, sweet black fruit and liquorice. It will be ready to drink by 2021 and should continue to improve and age through 2025. Best with lamb or beef at the moment.Tasted: 11 September 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
