Da Vero Catarratto Vino Rosso Biologico 2017

Sicily, ItalyAraldica is a third generation, family operated co-operative based in Piedmont that remains faithful to a wine growing artisanal approach. Over time it has expanded its reach by working with local farmers and growers throughout Italy to produce authentic wine, enter Da Vero. This cooperative in Sicily has the island’s largest plantings of organic vines, and has been working with Araldica for years. Daverro means really, or naturally, in Italian. The Nero d’Avola comes off organic vineyards converted in 2007. Expect ripe black raspberry and brambleberry with grippy tannins and a dry Italian finish. Best with rustic fares like spaghetti and meatballs, casseroles, or grilled beef.Tasted: 26 September 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
