Culmina Family Estate Malbec 2016
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Arise Bench, on their Golden Mile Bench vineyard, this malbec aged for 16 months in French oak (17% new). Polished and smooth, as is the Culmina way, this is plush with ripe blueberries and super ripe blackberries, and seasoned with nutmeg and allspice. That said, all is held back some, and shy at present, hinting that this big red could use some more time in bottle to show its malbec nature.
