Ciù Ciù Bacchus Piceno 2019

Ascoli Piceno, Marche, ItalyBacchus is equal parts Montepulciano and Sangiovese, grown in mixed clay soils 300m on the Marches hills surrounding the towns of Offida and Acquaviva Picena, in Ascoli Piceno province. This unoaked red is printed for drinking now, with bright dark cherry, fleshy dark plum, mulberry, and tart balsamic filling a round, supple palate. There's a spritz to the palate, making this somewhat disjointed against the ample, ripe, and sticky tannins that house this to a baking spiced finish. Pour with fire roasted beets and / or rabbit rillettes.Tasted: 20 September 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
