Soap-led, with lime blossom, lemon sherbet, tangerine pith, sour melon on a tart, dryish palate, with the high acids buffered by 6 g/L RS. The end result is a relatively simple gëwurztraminer with perfumed aromas and muddled stone fruits that are lacking some freshness. Peak Cellars Gewurztraminer 2019

Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a fun white wine with all Gewurztraminer's keynotes, including rose petals, orange blossoms, spice, and ginger. The palate follows on with similar, smooth flavours after three months of barrel ageing. In the end, there is a little stamp of BC savoury desert scrub to add complexity and depth.
