Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Laughing Stock style has always been hedonistic. In this case, you get the full meal deal viognier, with baked apple, peach, pear, with a creamy vanilla topping, and a whack of stirred lees. This guy is fully ripe and at 15 percent alcohol, giving it a spicy, warm, slightly bitter finish. The fruit comes out of the south Okanagan and is fermented in a mix of stainless steel tanks and concrete; the final product is stored on its lees for six months.
