Joseph Mellot Sincérite Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Loire, FranceA sauvignon with such purity and elegance rocks in the glass. It opens with bright floral notes of lemon and pink grapefruit. On the palate, similar flavours of citrus, green melon, and ripe, juicy mandarin oranges are hard to resist. There is a twist of lees in the mix that keeps it a little bit complex and food-friendly, but frankly, this bottle disappears in an instant once opened. Serve with any Westcoast shellfish or a favourite cream cheese with crackers. The Joseph Mellot winery was founded in Sancerre over five centuries ago. In 1698, Cesar Mellot was tasked with advising King Louis XIV's regal wine selection. To this day, the estate has remained family-owned.Tasted: 17 July 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
