Terravista Albariño 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis isn’t just a curiosity: it makes a serious case for more albariño in the Okanagan. A combination of Naramata (69 percent) and Oliver (31 percent) fruit, this was wild fermented and aged in stainless steel. True to variety, it's semi-aromatic, with white flowers, peach skin, and a sapid salinity. A subtle effervescence gives this a liveliness to the palate, with a linear texture and crisp acidity. It effortlessly carries the 13.8% abv. Nice precision across the board, with good length. Break out the shellfish.Tasted: 22 May 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 25.00 winery online/direct Producer: Terravista VineyardsDistributors: Sur Lie
